I’ve asked this before, but we had substantially fewer followers at the time. So let’s do this again.
Based on the context of the books/movies (rather than personal religious belief), do you think Twilight vampires have souls? Y/N
I haven’t read the whole thing yet, but half-way through and it’s pretty much what I wanted Breaking Dawn to be.

Thirsty vampires are in acute physical pain. It is comparable to the feel of a third degree burn inside your throat. It can make a vampire literally crazy for relief—beyond thought. If your hand was on fire and there was a bucket of ice water beside you, would you resist that relief? Of course not. You would have no reason to. Back to the average vampire’s viewpoint, neither does a vampire have a reason to resist. There is a fire, he or she quenches it. Problem, solution. It is not about pleasure as much as relief of pain for the thirsty vampire. There is pleasure in the act, but it does not influence the motivation before the act as much as the pain does.

Blood drinking is an imperative. Even for a vampire who keeps his or her system full of animal blood, the lack of human blood is constant pain. I think the only human state that is even close to comparable is anorexia. Anorexia is too hard on a human body—in the end, if not given up, it kills a human. Vampires can’t be killed by starvation, so they manage. But it’s harder than you’re giving them credit for. My philosophy is this: I can’t judge vampires, because I’ve never done anything as physically difficult—nothing even close!—as giving up human blood is to them.

This is where I got the idea that being a Twilight vampire seriously sucks. Constant pain for all eternity?! That sounds terrible!
(Which begs the question: What happened to this idea come Breaking Dawn? I think Bella comments on her thirst maybe twice. Bella, the girl who complained about the weather on every other page, is not at all bothered by constant pain? Doesn’t find it worth mentioning? Is Nessie, a baby, subjected to this pain too? Does anyone care?)
As far as I can tell, this is the closest Esme gets to interacting with Renesmee in the movie. Though to be fair, there wasn’t much interaction between them in the book, either.
In fact, when the Cullens left to find witnesses:
Carlisle put his hand on Edward’s shoulder for a second and then kissed my forehead. Esme hugged us both, and Emmett punched us both on the arm. Rosalie forced a hard smile for Edward and me, blew a kiss to Renesmee, and then gave Jacob a parting grimace.
Apparently Renesmee is in the room but only Rosalie says goodbye to her. Curious.
When you hear ‘Mrs. Cullen’ do you think of Bella or Esme? (or Alice or Rosalie, I guess, depending on how you sort out the last names).
In a related question, do you generally think of her as “Bella Swan” or “Bella Cullen?”
I think SM’s intention is that Jacob will never die. She once said: “I do believe there’s some concern about that and the lovely thing about their relationship is that Nessie apparently will not age past you know, like around 18, 20. And Jacob, as long as he keeps turning into a werewolf regularly, will always be the same as well so they’re good to go.” So in SM’s mind Jacob will keep phasing forever and so won’t age and thus will be basically immortal.
But I think if he does die, Nessie will be able to move on. HE imprinted on HER, not the other way around. Their bond is strong (she calls him “My Jacob” when she’s just a baby) but she still has her free will so she’d probably just end up with Nahuel or something if Jacob were out of the picture. Nahuel is the only male on the planet who can really understand her, after all.
Does anyone know of any other Twilight fanmixes? Not E/B, I’ve seen a million of those, I’m more interested in other characters/pairings or just general Twilight mixes. Lulzy/snarky ones are welcome too.

How did you want the series to end? Bella as a vamp or human? Edward as vamp or somehow becoming human again? The rest of the Cullens? Bella with Edward? Bella with Jacob? Bella single? Baby or no baby? Volturi showdown or no? What was YOUR ideal ending?
