I’ve got my files back, yay!
Carlisle’s back story. His father’s a monster-hunting pastor who recruits his son to take over the raids because he’s getting old. Carlisle’s not crazy about the idea but actually researches the topic and manages to uncover real vampires living under the city not in sewers though they didn’t exist at the time.
It doesn’t end well for him. Because we didn’t get it in the movies. Not that I’m bitter about that or anything.
Esme’s breath was ragged behind me. She moved past us, touching our faces as she passed, to stand beside Carlisle and hold his hand.
Missing Lines - Edward
If Bella and Edward were in a plane crash… . am I the only one a little bothered that he doesn’t even consider trying to save anyone else? Couldn’t grab a small child or two along with Bella? Reading too much into it? Okay.
Missing Lines - Charlie II
I picked this one because it’s like, oh Charlie… which books did YOU read? It’s a prime example of the show vs tell problem. Here’s Charlie, telling us how “amazingly non-whiney” Bella is, when Bella’s narration demonstrates her complaining about just about everything all the time.
